North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust

When NWAS was established in July 2006 following the amalgamation of the Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, and Mersey Regional ambulance trusts its HR and Finance directorates faced a significant challenge: the merger of the four VPDs and the procurement of a single payroll provider in order to furnish the Trust with a streamlined HR and payroll system.
