Payroll Shared Services

A variety of options are available for NHS Trusts seeking to implement a shared service payroll, all of which have inclusive electronic payroll data capture and workforce analysis software.

Fully managed payroll service

Equiniti ICS's CIPP-qualified team takes ownership of the entire payroll process, developing a level of familiarity equivalent to that of an in-house team. Catering for all of the Trust’s requirements, the service includes electronic payroll data capture and validation and support including management of staff queries and third party liaison.

Blended payroll service

Trust staff work in collaboration with Equiniti ICS’s experts to form a unified payroll team. Extra work streams may be outsourced to Equiniti ICS as needed, with the option to outsource progressively as staff leave and retire. The service is scalable, with the ability to respond quickly and accurately to organisational changes and is fully flexible, acting as a contingent payroll service in the event of in-house team absence.
